To begin, please go to the Google for Nonprofits website if your organisation does not already have an account. If your organisation has a Google for Nonprofits account, Google Workspace services tailored to nonprofits are available to you.

If Google Workspace isn’t being used by your company yet and you need to sign up

You will be taken to Google Workspace for Nonprofits’ free 14-day trial, during which up to 10 people can test out Google Workspace’s capabilities. See About your free Google Workspace trial for additional details.

Verify your domain for Google Workspace.

• During the 14-day trial, please verify that you own your domain with Google for Nonprofits.
• Sign in to Google for Nonprofits with your administrator account (Note: this is separate from a Google Workspace account).
• Click Get Started after finding the Google Workspace for Nonprofits offering.
• After entering your domain, click Activate.
• Within three business days, google will examine your request. If the upgrade of your domain was successful, you will receive an email from us.

If your organisation is currently using Google Workspace

• You will be asked to share your domain so we can check the edition of Google Workspace you are using.
• We will show you the Google Workspace offer(s) your nonprofit domain is eligible for.
• Choose the Google Workspace plan that best suits your needs by following the instructions, then click Activate.
• Within three business days, google will examine your request. Google will notify you via email whether the domain upgrade was successful or if you need to take any further action to receive Google Workspace Business and Enterprise editions’ lower pricing.
