How Do I Know if I Have Google Workspace?

Google Workspace offers a range of subscription options tailored to the varying needs of individuals, small enterprises, large organizations, and educational institutions. To manage and optimise your subscription effectively, it’s important to understand how to identify your current edition and payment plan, as well as the process involved in manually verifying your Google Workspace account, especially when automatic verification is not possible or when your domain is hosted with a different provider.

To find out which Google Workspace edition and payment plan you have, you must sign in with an administrator account to the Google Admin console. This is a fundamental requirement because the console is accessible only when logged in with the appropriate administrator privileges. Once signed in, find the Menu, then to Billing, and finally select Subscriptions. Access to this section also requires having the Billing Management administrator privilege, highlighting the importance of appropriate administrative roles for subscription management.

After you reach the Subscriptions page, click on your subscription to view detailed information about your payment plan. This section reveals vital subscription details such as the type of payment plan you are on whether you have opted for a Flexible Plan or an Annual/Fixed-Term Plan. Additionally, it shows the number of available and assigned licenses within your organisation, allowing you to monitor user seat allocations effectively. The estimated monthly bill is also displayed here, providing an approximate amount you will be charged during the next billing cycle.
